Nonchalant, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today?

My name is Trey Francis, But my Rap Name Is Nonchalant Sosaa . I am an up-and-coming artist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have been making music since I was 8, but I finally started taking it seriously at 12. When I was 8 years old, I use to go on YouTube and go to beats and record freestyles on my dad’s computer. At age 16, my friend BoosieBoy Mo and I made our own studio in my room. From there, I recorded my very third song entitled ( He Don’t Want None Prod. Nonchalant Sosaa ).

Has it been a smooth road?

I feel like when it comes to trying to be an upcoming artist in any city, it’s hard, but it’s most definitely hard trying to come up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In Baton Rouge, we’re like crabs in a bucket. Also, it’s popularity over talent mostly. With me, it is different. People treat me differently because I’m not the regular trap music rapper that’s the city used to. They’ll know you rap & hop on the next man because he is rich, but yet want you to suppose them while they just watch you struggle. But, Fake supporting you to make you show support to them. I wanted to bring back the fun/turnt era. So, I started making Vibing/ Fighting/Emotional music because I’m human.

    Any Music Hits.?

We’d love to hear more about your music. I am a music artist. I’m known for my great songs. However, I can do any style. A lot of people know me for my hit singles & Collaborations such as “FieldTripping, “Be The Same,” “DhaDhaDha, “and “BeatBoxx Remix.” I’m proud to say I came from 8 years of age starting to now at age 26. My career is doing great for me to be an independent artist coming out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. What sets me apart from others is the fact that I’m not afraid to be different. I wasn’t afraid of doing something like Twerking music & Emotionally Timeline Telling in my songs.

What is it about Baton Rouge Rappers.?

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least? What I like best about Baton Rouge is that we have some talented artists outside myself. Artists like Kevin Gates, Boosie Bad Azz, and Webbie, TEC & NBA YoungBoy made it out of the city. What I dislike about Baton Rouge is the lack of support from mostly friends & family to a certain extent. If you are not certain people or rocking with certain clicks is hard to get opportunities, and it shouldn’t be like that. If We Stand Together We Will Be Better Than Most Rap Sections Because We Beef Bout So Much Irrelevant Stuff When It’s Beef We Kamikaze Because We Beef Hard & Go For A Kill If We Get Disrespected. That’s Why We Call Baton Rouge Baby Russia.”
