DOLO TONIGHT SETS THE TONE FOR A NEW ERA WITH FATMOUTH RECORDS SIGNING AND “FALL IN LOVE”

Los Angeles, CA – In a move that feels entirely on-brand, Dolo Tonight has officially signed
with FatMouth Records – a label he founded himself – marking a full-circle moment that’s equal
parts confident, absurd, and unmistakably him.

The signing arrives alongside the announcement of Dolo’s new single, “Fall In Love,” produced
by longtime collaborator Ryan Spraker. The track introduces the next evolution of Dolo’s sound:
a deliberately awkward collision of indie rock, alternative pop, nervous energy, sharp humor, and
the kind of emotional honesty that usually arrives several hours after the conversation has
ended.

Known for blending indie rock and alternative pop with emotionally direct songwriting and an
increasingly strange sense of humor, Dolo Tonight has built a distinct creative world around his
music, visuals, and storytelling. Rather than waiting around for permission or chasing a
traditional industry arc, the artist chose the most Dolo Tonight option available: formalizing his
next chapter by signing to the infrastructure he already built.

“Wow. I can’t believe I’m signing with the legendary FatMouth Records,” said Dolo Tonight. “It’s
almost like I founded it or something. I thought this day would never come.”
Dolo previously released music through Warner Records and Epitaph Records before deciding
that the next logical step in his career was to sign with a label where he already knew the owner
personally.

“I had heard great things about the executive team,” Dolo said. “Very handsome. Extremely
responsive, but difficult to pin down.”

“Fall In Love” builds on the offbeat emotional world Dolo has developed across his recent music
while pushing further into what he describes as “awkward pop” – music that feels immediate,
catchy, slightly uncomfortable, and emotionally sincere despite doing everything possible to
avoid appearing sincere.

Produced by Ryan Spraker, the single pairs bright, hook-driven production with Dolo’s
conversational delivery and instinct for turning uncomfortable thoughts into choruses. It marks
the first glimpse of a new chapter centered on sharper pop songwriting, messier emotions, and
a creative direction that sounds increasingly like Dolo Tonight refusing to act normal on purpose.
FatMouth Records operates through a joint venture with Zebralution, releasing music globally
within the MERLIN independent label framework and providing full-scale worldwide distribution.

The label has released music and collaborated with artists across genres, including Jordin
Sparks, Dee Watkins, and Jacob Gale, building a reputation for hands-on releases that don’t
follow a prescribed formula.

“Well… we kind of had to sign him,” joked Shawn “Doe” Rose, Head of A&R at FatMouth
Records. “He’s my boss. But seriously, Dolo knows exactly who he is and how he wants to
move.”

Creative Director Danah Lee approved the signing but requested that Dolo stop designing
promotional materials in the Notes app.
The signing blurs the line between artist and operator in a way that feels less ironic and more
inevitable, reflecting an artist who has always treated the business side of music as another
creative tool rather than a barrier.

With “Fall In Love,” Dolo Tonight begins the next phase of his career on his own terms, through
his own label, with his own team, and under the close supervision of himself.
More to come soon.
