The record was written by Sir Lexx, the self-proclaimed Edgar Allen Poe of this generation of music. “If Edgar were alive, he would sound more like me,” Sir Lexx states. “Conscious Dreams” does have a somewhat eerie beat, produced by thundaa, and poetic lyricism that does pay homage to one of his greatest influences. He also draws inspiration from Elliott Hulse, Juice WRLD, Moneybagg Yo, and Drakeo the Ruler.
Chantara kicks off the record with her hard-hitting verse, then supplies a catchy hook through her flawless vocals. The multitalented singer-songwriter is known for her Latin Pop, but she demonstrates her versatility in “Conscious Dreams.” Growing up in a multicultural household that spoke five languages and with influences such as Shakira, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias, and Marc Anthony, it is no wonder why Chantara can effortlessly utilize her world-class vocals on various different arrangements and genres.
