Cam’ron’s iconic pink Range Rover has been put up for sale on eBay.
The rap legend bought the vehicle in 2003 and it later featured in videos for his songs “Killa Cam” and “Get Em Girls.”
The car, which has an all-pink interior and exterior, is listed at $16,000, with its current owner residing in Georgia.
“This is a beautiful Pink on Pink 2003 Range Rover HSE,” the posting read. “This vehicle was custom painted and had the interior redone when it was brand new in 2003 by its former celebrity owner.”
After purchasing the car in 2003, Cam’ron unloaded it just a year later, again using eBay to sell the SUV.
At the time, he listed the car with a starting price of $180,000, with any potential buyer having to put down a deposit of $90,000.
In an interview with MTV News, the Dipset rapper explained why he wanted to sell the candy-colored car.
“When I drive it, it’s a headache,” he admitted. “My driver be signing autographs if he’s in there by himself. No matter who’s driving, if they are in that car, you’re a star.
“If your grandmother got in that driver’s seat, she’s gonna be signing autographs. It just attracts attention. That’s why I put it in the video.”
Despite his desperation to offload his Range Rover, Cam’ron feels differently about his famous pink fur coat. Earlier this year, he revealed he was once offered $300,000 for the jacket, but turned it down.
“The people who offered it to me, I didn’t feel they deserved it,” he said during an appearance on Kevin Durant’s Boardroom podcast. “It was more of a stat to them like, ‘I bought Cam’s jacket.’ It wasn’t really like they appreciated where that jacket came from.
“If it makes sense to sell it to somebody who would appreciate it or put it where it’s gonna be seen and be stored that people know it’s my jacket, cool.
He added: “You got rich suburban kids who be like, ‘Hey Cam, my girlfriend really loves your pink jacket. I don’t really know too much about it but I’ll buy it for her. How much do you want for it?’ That type shit.
“These are booster babies — their parents come from generational money to where they probably don’t know much about Hip Hop at all anyway, but they dealing with people who do.”
