The upcoming Concert for Altadena has officially expanded its lineup, bringing even more star power to a night dedicated to healing and rebuilding after one of California’s most devastating wildfire seasons. The newly announced additions include Rufus Wainwright, Lucius, and Lord Huron, along with Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas.
Scheduled for January 7, 2026, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, the one-night-only benefit concert will support Californians impacted by last year’s deadly Eaton Fire. The event will be hosted by Altadena resident John C. Reilly, whose own home was lost in the blaze—adding a deeply personal layer to the evening.
Organized by the band Dawes, the show already boasted an impressive roster before the latest announcements. Previously confirmed performers include Brandon Flowers of The Killers and Brad Paisley. They’ll be joined by a wide-ranging lineup featuring Eric Krasno, Aloe Blacc, Jackson Browne, Judith Hill, Jenny Lewis, Mandy Moore, Stephen Stills, Everclear, and Ozomatli—making the concert a powerful cross-genre gathering.
All proceeds from the show will benefit the Altadena Builds Back Foundation, an organization focused on rebuilding homes and restoring lives affected by the fires. The Eaton Fire left a devastating mark on the region, claiming 19 lives, displacing more than 100,000 residents, and destroying nearly 9,500 structures.
Reflecting on the significance of the date, Dawes shared an emotional message on Instagram: January 7 marks exactly one year since their hometown was torn apart by the fire. While acknowledging the weight of the anniversary, the band emphasized that the night would also be filled with beauty, connection, and hope.
For Dawes’ brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, the cause is painfully personal. Griffin revealed that his family lost their entire home in the early days of the wildfire, while Taylor suffered major losses as well, including his home studio and much of the band’s recording equipment.
Earlier this year, Dawes paid tribute to Los Angeles on a national stage during the Grammys, performing “I Love L.A.” alongside Brad Paisley, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Brittany Howard, and St. Vincent. That spirit of unity and resilience now carries forward into the Concert for Altadena, making Rufus Wainwright, Lucius & Lord Huron Announced for L.A. Wildfire Anniversary Benefit Show not just a headline—but a symbol of community, remembrance, and rebuilding.
