If Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ever decide to walk down the aisle, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid says he’s got no shortage of material for his reception speech.
During an appearance on the Thursday (Aug. 7) episode of 96.5 The Fan with Fescoe and Dusty, Reid chuckled when asked what stories he might share if given the mic at his star tight end’s hypothetical wedding to the 14-time Grammy-winning superstar. “Ooh,” he teased. “Well, there are a few I can’t tell.”
He quickly added, “No, there are a lot of great stories. He’s done so many good things — especially off the field — that people don’t even know about. He’s always helping people out. He’s got a big heart, and that’s what I appreciate most about him.”
Engagement Rumors Continue to Swirl
Swift and Kelce, who began dating in 2023, have faced constant engagement speculation. While there’s no public confirmation of wedding plans yet, the couple has been spotted spending plenty of quality time together in the offseason. Kelce recently shared a carousel of sweet photos on social media, featuring not only himself and Swift but also their brothers, Austin Swift and Jason Kelce.
Now back in training ahead of the 2025–26 NFL season, Kelce is preparing for the Chiefs’ first game on Sept. 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers, following the season’s kickoff on Sept. 4.
Swift’s Continued NFL Impact
With her record-breaking Eras Tour wrapped — grossing over $2 billion by its December finale — Swift is expected to attend numerous Chiefs games this year and next. Her appearances at Arrowhead Stadium over the past two seasons have drawn a noticeable increase in young women tuning into the NFL, something Reid praised during his interview.
“I think it’s great,” Reid said. “Women and girls are looking at the game more now. Look at flag football — it’s becoming part of the Olympics and college sports. Girls have the opportunity to play and they’re loving it. [Swift] had a big part in that.”
