D’Montay Sullivan, professionally known as Taylo, is an emerging recording artist, entrepreneur, and content creator whose journey reflects resilience, growth, and vision. Born on September 19, 2000, in East Baltimore, Maryland, Taylo’s upbringing between Baltimore and the South Side of the Bronx exposed him to diverse cultural influences that would later shape his sound. Eventually settling in York, Pennsylvania, he began turning raw experiences into a clear artistic direction.
Taylo discovered his passion for music at just 12 years old. What started as writing rap lyrics quickly evolved into a deeper commitment to the craft. During his school years, he connected with longtime collaborators Jonathan and Clifton, known as Litty Savage and McM Bang. Together, they formed their first group, F.A.M.E (Fantasy And My Entertainment), later rebranding as L.A.M.E (Laughing At My Enemies). Their early grind was defined by consistency—freestyling on the way to school and recording music with limited resources, driven purely by passion.
Between the ages of 13 and 17, Taylo began building his presence online through platforms like Instagram and Facebook, connecting with a growing audience beyond his immediate circle. Influenced by his family, including his mother, cousins Deja and Eric, and his older brother Mikey, his music reflects both personal storytelling and generational inspiration.
Facing real-life challenges early on, Taylo made a conscious shift toward discipline and self-improvement. This decision became a defining moment in his life, shaping not only his music but his mindset. Today, he stands as a multifaceted creative, grounded in faith, manifestation, and personal growth. Becoming a father to his daughter, La’Zylah Milan, further strengthened his purpose and long-term vision.
Musically, Taylo has collaborated with artists like Von Wilda, Jayy Grams, Polo Shak, Litty Savage, La Fakts, Taedadon, RugaaaLiveee, and McM Bang, alongside producers such as Yrs 808 and Zo Beats. His tracks, including “Envy Me,” “A&B,” and “Piped Up,” showcase a blend of drill, hip-hop, R&B, and club energy, paired with raw and honest storytelling.
Beyond music, Taylo is the founder of BME (Blessing My Entertainers), a brand focused on uplifting creatives and building community. With plans to launch a podcast, host artist interviews, and release multiple EPs, he’s expanding his reach beyond just music.
As he prepares to step into live performances and larger stages, Taylo’s mission remains clear: build generational wealth, explore the world, and leave a lasting impact through authenticity, creativity, and purpose.
