He has also been co-signed by many other celebrities such as Jermell Simmons and YouTube star “Bernard N*gga”.
IamDerby, born Darius Eugene House, is a musician/ artist from Portsmouth, Virginia. His musical career started around the age of only 5 years old. Brought up in the Baptist Church, he began an interest in playing the drums and ever since then he has been musically inclined. It wasn’t until his 7th grade year in middle school where he would write and record his first songs. In fact, his first ever microphone was given to him by his grandfather on his mothers side of their family. Since then and until now he has drastically inclined in his career even as far as working with celebrities such as Slaughter Gang artist Young Nudy and the late Money Power Respect (MPR)/ Hoodrich rap artist Goonew.
IamDerby is the great cousin of the internationally well known comedian Wanda Sykes. He was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. He is the son of a well known Pastor, Daniel E. House Jr., of Suffolk, Virginia. He has one child (daughter), Jornei L. Williams, 5 years old.
